Data Management
Better data management comes from a better understanding of how clinical trials work. Our decades of experience as the central lab for an academic medical center has helped us to understand that process thoroughly.
Being part of the University of Rochester Medical Center enables us to have a better understanding of investigators. We work with numerous doctors here who are engaged in pharmacological studies, and that experience helps us to create data management plans that are more effective and intuitive.
A fully customized data management plan will be part of your protocol specifications document. This is created in collaboration with you, based on your specific needs. Every part of the data collection and reporting process—what data you need, in what formats, how often, with what analyses, exclusion criteria, alerts, and so on—is determined in tight collaboration with you.
One of the key services we provide is the resolution of data inconsistencies. Because of variances in data entry at investigator sites, there are numerous irregularities in data that is reported. Our experience with thousands of trials and projects helps us to know exactly what to look for and expect, while providing resolution that preserves the integrity of your study’s data.
