Pathology Informatics: IntroductionAutomation and information systems have been integral to the development of the modern clinical laboratory. There are still many areas, though, where people working in the labs see the potential for further use of electronic media. The applications on these pages have been developed by Dr. Zhenhong Qu and a group of students and residents who are learning about pathology informatics while gaining hands-on experience with web and other software. They have been assisted by web programmers at the University of Texas and the URMC. |
