Mission: Improving the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families by providing exemplary Information and Referral Services.
The Information and Referral Specialist provides support to families in Western New York and is available to answer questions from families, educators, health professionals and other providers.

Information about specific types of disabilities or disability-related conditions. - Identifying and accessing community resources such as recreational, financial and therapeutic resources.
- Navigating childhood and adult service systems such as Health, Education and Social Services.
- Supporting families in advocating for access to services.
- Assistance with transition planning and locating options for individuals with disabilities ages 14-25.
- Navigating the transition process.
- Post secondary options for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Referral and contact information for local agencies and support services.
- Vocational information regarding assessments, options and services.
- Independent living information.
- Providing support for any other concerns or questions.

What is Kirch Developmental Services Center? It is an interdisciplinary program focusing on the being of children with complex physical and developmental disabilities such as Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida and Autism. Clinical services include diagnostic evaluation and specialized medical care for children with physical and developmental disabilities. Technical assistance to schools and community agencies that serve children and adults with disabilities is provided to optimize participation in school and community opportunities.
