Physicians first need to sign up for the service by opening web browser and entering: http://cmewebrounds.urmc.edu/register. Click on the register button in the upper right hand corner and follow directions, entering all information for profile. The service is free of charge.
After completing registration you will receive an email with personalized log-in information and a web link pointing you to the website where all of the content is available. In the future you can access this log-in page directly by typing: http://cmewebrounds.urmc.edu into your browser. Your password will be required for each visit, so please keep it somewhere easily accessible. We also recommend that you bookmark the link for easy, direct access.
View Available Courses
After logging in there is a box located on the lower left hand corner entitled “Courses: Quick View”, which is where all of the series are listed and where you can enter each departments individual websites of content. Please click on the Department of Pediatrics link, and scroll to the bottom of the screen where you will see a live link next to a manila folder that grants you access to the videos, you will see a listing of all content currently available. We will regularly update this videos as they are recorded for the public.
Each session has a corresponding quiz and attestation, upon successfully completing all steps and achieving 75% passing rate or higher, you will instantly receive a printable certificate equal to the credits earned for the time you spent. The URMC CME office will record your finished coursework, and can provide a transcript at the yearend for your records. NOTE: CME Credit cannot be duplicated for attending the same session twice. This means that you may not receive credit for an online session if you physically attended that session at URMC or RGH and received CME Credit .
