Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics and Neurotoxicology

A major interdisciplinary series of studies in the Strong Children’s Research Center examines neurodevelopmental, cognitive, and physical development in children in the Seychelles Islands who are exposed both in utero and during childhood to high concentrations of methylmercury ingested in the fish that forms a staple of the diet of this region. This longitudinal study is funded by the NIH.
