Director, Pediatric Links to the Community (PLC) Fellowship Training: Danielle Thomas-Taylor, MD MPH
Dr. Thomas-Taylor is Co-Director of the Pediatric Links to the Community-Child Advocacy Resident Education (PLC/CARE) program, a role she assumed when completing her fellowship in our program. She is a local and national specialist in child abuse and domestic violence, the subject of her four poster and platform presentations at the Pediatric Academic Societies meetings during her fellowship. As a professional from both African-American and Native-American heritage, she has a strong interest in serving minority populations and training child health professionals to understand the needs of families from distinct cultures and to integrate effective strategies to best serve diverse families in primary care and community settings.
