Application Process
Prerequisite: The postdoctoral education prerequisite is completing an ACGME accredited General Pediatric residency training program.
Application: For consideration to our Fellowship Program, please submit the following through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS®).

Completed application form.

Personal statement telling us about yourself, your interest in Neonatology, long term plans, and specific fellowship training goals.

Four letters of recommendation from the Chief of Pediatrics, the Director of Neonatology, and two other faculty members who are familiar with your work.
Candidates are required, with rare exception, to visit Rochester for personal interviews with members of the faculty and to meet with current fellows. We accept applications from US citizens, permanent residents of the US, and individuals with J-1 visas to work in the US. The University of Rochester does not sponsor individuals with H1B visas for Neonatology fellowship training.
Selection criteria will include an excellent residency performance record from an ACGME-accredited US residency program, the personal interview and goals consistent with those of the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program at the University of Rochester.
