Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship
Welcome from the Program Director
Marc B. Lande, M.D., M.P.H.,
Pediatric nephrology offers the opportunity to care for children with a wide range of acute and chronic disorders. It is an interesting, challenging, and rewarding field.
Our faculty is one of the strongest assets of our program. They are true role models for our fellows as educators, researchers and clinicians. They are approachable, diverse in their clinical and research interests and generous with career guidance. In addition, their medical knowledge and ability to handle complicated patients are exceptional.
Our fellows have the opportunity to work with researchers within the division, the department and the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) depending on their individual interests. Opportunities exist for fellows to fulfill their research requirements while pursuing an advanced degree; 95% of the tuition cost is covered by the University.
