ACGME Medical Fellowship in Adolescent Medicine

Accredited fellowship training in Adolescent Medicine at the University of Rochester prepares fellows to sit for subspecialty qualifying examinations conducted jointly by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) and the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).

Our Mission

Fellowship training in Adolescent Medicine has a tripartite mission:

To conduct research that will advance knowledge about the causes, prevention and treatment of adolescent health problems and about the delivery of health care to adolescents
To develop the next generation of academic leaders in Adolescent Medicine
To provide specialized health care services to adolescents and their families living in the Rochester area, with attention to their biopsychosocial needs, and the needs of each patient's family and primary care provider
