Director, Health Services Research Training: Jill Halterman, MD, MPH
Dr. Halterman is a 2000 graduate of our NRSA-funded AGP fellowship. She is Associate Division Chief for Research in General Pediatrics at the URMC and a rising star in general pediatrics. She recently completed a RWJ-funded Faculty Development Program, has a nationally renowned research program in office and community-based asthma delivery, has major local grants and an RO1 from NHLBI on school-based asthma intervention for urban children. She is an outstanding mentor for fellows and junior faculty. She has tremendous experience in assessing and improving health disparities, and will work closely with individual fellows on both of their research studies.
