Dr. Kaczorowski and Mr. Marx will be delivering the same talk on Tuesday, March 6th at Rochester General Hospital in the Twig Auditorium at 8:00 a.m.
Our Speakers
Our speakers for Grand Rounds will be Jeffrey Kaczorowski, M.D., Associate Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Executive Director at The Children's Agenda and Principal Investigator of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Community Pediatrics Training Initiative and Larry Marx, Strategy and Development Director at The Children's Agenda, and their talk is titled “A Decade of Decline for Monroe County's Children: How Will We Respond?”
The Children’s Agenda’s recent report, “Decade of Decline” shows that despite some of the best pediatric health care resources in the country, children and youth in Monroe County are having worse, not better, outcomes in a number of important areas of health, development, and success. Kaczorowski and Marx will be discussing he data and recommendations for shifts in public policy to reverse these trends. They will also encourage doctors and health professionals to engage in expanded advocacy efforts to improve the health and well-being of our community’s children.
