Susan Saunders is an experienced consultant and teacher. Throughout her career Susan has provided consultation and training service to a variety of public and private institutions, including multi-national corporations, governmental and religious institutions, political groups, and hospitals and health systems.
She has worked with multi-national corporations such as Esso, Bendix, and Xerox to design improved work processes, improve communication within a corporate sales force, enhance managerial and leadership capacity, and manage rapid changes in the manufacturing setting.
She has collaborated with people in government, providing learning experiences in organizational change, leadership enhancement, and effective management to such groups as the National Conference of Mayors, the Minnesota Association of City Managers, and the South Carolina Association of Elected Women Officials. In the Rochester region, Susan has provided consultation and training for a range of groups including: the Bishop of Rochester and the Diocesan leadership group; the Mayor and senior leadership team of the City of Rochester; and the Police Chief, as well as managers and supervisors throughout the City's Police Department.
Susan has provided consultation to hospitals and health systems around the design of care management systems in such settings as: Inter-Mountain Health System of Greater Salt Lake; UCLA; University of Michigan Medical Management Center; Columbia Presbyterian; Emory University's Teaching Hospital; and the Medical University of South Carolina. She is a nationally recognized teacher and guest lecturer in the fields of social work and interdisciplinary care management, collaborating with diverse groups such as the Veterans Administration; Mayo Clinic; Case Management Society of America; American Hospital Association; and many Hospitals and professional groups throughout the country.
