As a physiatrist, or physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist, Dr. Orsini works alongside spine surgeons to diagnose and treat spinal disorders by interventional means. Dr. Orsini's special expertise includes diagnosis of peripheral nerve injuries and non-surgical treatments such as spine injections and management of spasticity due to stroke, brain injury, MS, or cerebral palsy. He has additional experience in the use of electrodiagnostic studies to evaluate disorders of nerves and muscle.

Dr. Orsini earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington and a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Orsini is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with certification in pain management at URMC.
