Professional Bio

Esther S. Tanzman, MD joined UHS in September 1984. Dr. Tanzman received her medical degree from S.U.N.Y. Downstate Medical Center in 1980 and completed a residency program in Internal Medicine at Rochester General Hospital and a residency program in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Strong Memorial Hospital. Dr. Tanzman also serves as the Clinical Director of the UHS Occupational Health Program. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine in the UR School of Medicine and Dentistry and a Fellow in the American College of Physicians.
