Patient Care Bio
Dr. Suozzi is a 1983 graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. During that time he was elected to the medical school honor society, Alpha-Omega-Alpha. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Strong Memorial Hospital in 1986 and coauthored an article in the American Journal of Gastroenterology.
He began practice in Internal Medicine in private practice until 1998 when he joined the University of Rochester as an Attending Physician.
Dr. Suozzi is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians and is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Rochester. In 2006 he received a Certificate of Excellence for patient satisfaction from the Department of Primary Care.
Dr. Suozzi's interest include all branches of Internal Medicine and teaching medical students. He is a native Western New Yorker and graduated from Canisius College in Buffalo Suma Cum Laude. He and his wife have 3 children.
