I am the Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Residency, the Assistant Director for the Primary Care Clerkship, and a practicing pediatrician at English Road Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine. Some of my highlights as an educator include developing and implementing an interprofessional simulation program to train the pediatric code team, teaching community advocacy, mentoring residents and medical students, and developing and directing a 2-day faculty development course for using simulation as a teaching methodology. I obtained my medical degree from SUNY at Buffalo's School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences in 2004 and completed my pediatric residency and chief residency at the University of Rochester in 2008.
Patient Care Bio
My passions include caring for children to improve their overall health and teaching other healthcare providers to enhance the care of their patients.
As a pediatrician at English Road Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine, I enjoy working with children and their families to provide guidance during a child's development, appropriate treatment during illness, and support throughout. My approach is to work in partnership with my patients and families to help each individual be as healthy as possilble.
I love to teach and include it in my practice with patients and families as well as my academic work at the University spanning from medical students and residents to faculty and other healthcare providers.
