Professional Bio
Paul Winters,MS is a statistician and Assistant Faculty in the department of Family Medicine Research at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He previously worked as the Lead Programmer/Analyst and Faculty Assistant in the Department of Community & Preventive Medicine, Division of Epidemiology where he taught and helped develop a required course in statistical computing for the doctorate program in epidemiology.
He graduated with a Master's degree in applied statistics from the Kate Gleason School of Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology. His undergraduate degree in linguistics was completed at the University of Rochester.
Research Bio
Assistant Faculty in the department of Family Medicine Research at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He is a statistician who has collaborated on a wide variety of medical research projects within and outside the Medical Center and has co-authored numerous papers. He is particularly interested in statistical methods in medical research with a specialty in nationally representative weighted data with complex survey designs.
