Sasha D. Massachi, MD, is currently Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She previously provided inpatient consultation service and provided acute psychiatric care to patients in the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP). She has experience working with patients on inpatient psychiatric units, both for children/adolescents and for adults. She also has worked previously at the Monroe County Children's Detention Center providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management to youth. She currently provides consultation services (by request) to any child or adolescent housed in Golisano Children's Hospital via her role on the psychiatric consultation-liaison service. She is currently a service leader on the Pediatric Psychiatry CL Service.

Dr. Massachi received her medical degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine, Buffalo, NY in 2007 and completed her Psychiatry residency at University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, NY in 2010. Dr. Massachi completed a fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, NY in 2012. She remains double-boarded in Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from ABPN.
