Patient Care Bio
Dr. Wexler is an Instructor of Internal Medicine in the Hospital Medicine Division at the University of Rochester, NY. He grew up in upstate New York and attended Cornell University where he earned a BS in Biological Sciences. He completed his medical school education and Internal Medicine residency at the University of Rochester. In 2012 he joined the University of Rochester Hospital Medicine Division as an Instructor of Internal Medicine.
His clinical interests include cardiology and critically ill patients. He is currently involved in research projects studying microvascular, biochemical, and red cell abnormalities in severe infections, work which he collaborates on with Dr. Anthony Pietropaoli in the department of Pulmonary and critical care.
