Professional Bio
Dr. Guancial completed a Fellowship at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Prior to that, Elizabeth completed a residency in the Department of Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. She earned her medical doctorate at Harvard Medical School, and an undergraduate degree from Hamilton College, where she graduated summa cum laude.
A former Buffalo resident, Elizabeth has significant experience in research related to bladder cancer and other GU cancers and was awarded a Bladder Cancer Research Award by the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network. She currently serves as a peer reviewer for the European Oncology & Haematology journal and the British Journal of Urology.
