Professional Bio
John Porter, M.D., Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburg School of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency in general surgery at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Following residency, Dr. Porter attended the Louisiana State University Medical Center where he completed a fellowship in vascular surgery. Dr. Porter joined the Department in 1988 and currently sees patients in the Finger Lakes Region
Dr. Porter specializes in all areas of vascular surgery and is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the International Society for Endovascular Surgery, the Society of Vascular Surgery and several more.
