Dr. Gassler graduated from State University of New York at Stony Brook, and received his MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Duke University Medical Center, and his cardiology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He completed an interventional fellowship here at the University of Rochester Medical Center and joined the faculty in 2002.
Patient Care Bio
Dr. Gassler sees general cardiology patients. He leads the Anticoagulation Management Service in the Cardiology Division which oversees the care of patients who are at risk for a blood clot. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
