Dr. Symer is a graduate of Cornell University College of Arts and Sciences and the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. His residency training was at the University of Cincinnati and the University of Rochester, where he served as Medical Chief Resident at Rochester General Hospital. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and received added certification in Geriatric Medicine.
