Professional Bio

Dr. Ling obtained his M.D. degree from the New York University School of Medicine. HE completed internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Hospital, and his cardiology and intervbentional cardiology fellowships at Yale University. He joined the faculty in 1993.

Patient Care Bio

Dr. Ling directs the cardiac catheterization laboratory. He performs diagnostic catheterizations, balloon angioplasty and stenting. Dr. Ling specializes in evaluation and treatment of structural heart disease. He is an expert in devices that close atrial septal defects (ASD). He leads the URMC multidisciplinary Transcatheter Aortic Valve Intervention (TAVI) program. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
