Erica Dobson, PharmD, BCPS, is the Director of Pharmacy Services at Accountable Health Partners, a clinically integrated network of eight regional hospitals and over 2,000 providers with multiple value-based arrangements. In this role, she is responsible for leading the development and successful implementation of medication use strategies across the network that are designed to improve quality and deliver the greatest value from the pharmacy benefit provided to patients. Erica earned a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Butler University. She completed her PGY1 and PGY2 Infectious Diseases pharmacy residencies at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) and is board certified in pharmacotherapy. Erica began her career at URMC in 2006 as an Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, specializing in the management of patients living with HIV/AIDS and later worked as a Clinical Informatics Pharmacist building the antimicrobial stewardship platform for the organization. She served as the Director of the PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency program at URMC for 10 years and has precepted over 75 pharmacy students and residents during the course of her career. Currently, she oversees the integration of embedded clinical pharmacists into primary care practices to provide comprehensive medication management. Erica has served on multiple committees, remains an active member of ACCP and is a past-president of the NY state chapter of ACCP. Her specific professional interests include population health management, comprehensive medication management and advancing the integration of clinical pharmacists in the ambulatory care setting.
