Professional Bio

A board certified child neurologist and pediatrician with specialty training in neuro-oncology, Dr. Jennifer Mulbury completed her residency in Pediatrics at University of Rochester followed by a residency in Child Neurology at University of Rochester followed by a a fellowship in Neuro-Oncology at Unversity of Rochester. Dr. Mulbury joined the faculty at the University of Rochester in 2011 where she has a joint appointment in Neurology and child neurology and Pediatrics. She sees pediatric patients at Strong Memorial Hospital and adult patients at the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center and sees adult and pediatric patients in her Neurofibromatosis clinic



Dr. Mulbury sees general pediatric neurology patients as well as patients with primary brain tumors in pediatric and adult patients and is involved in administering chemotherapy, treating seizures and managing side effects of brain tumors and brain tumor therapy. In addition, she does consultations on patients with neurologic complications of cancer or cancer treatments.

She also has dedicated clinic for pediatric and adult patients with Neurofibromatosis type 1 and 2 and Schwannomatosis and focuses on mutidiscplinary care for these patients. . She is pending approval for official Childrens Tumor Foundation approval to be able to obtain funding and official NF center and is interested in evaluating therapies for the treatment of all types of tumors associated with Neurofibromatoses.

She also has an interest in pediatric stroke and actively involed in the International Pediatric Stroke Study and Consortiom.
