Professional Bio

Residency training in Anatomic Pathology, Washington University School of Medicine. Fellowship in Pulmonary and Mediastinal Pathology, Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. Board certified in Anatomic Pathology. My primary clinical interests are in pulmonary and mediastinal pathology.

Research Bio

My research is focused on delineating the mechanisms in the regulation of voltage-gated potassium channels underlying the cardiac repolarization. Ongoing studies are focused on defining the functional roles of filamin C, an actin binding protein, in the regulation of both voltage-gated potassium channels and cardiac contraction. In addition, my interests also include molecular mechanisms of lung tumor and fibrosing interstitial pneumonia.
