He has an active general nephrology practice, with a particular interest in disorders of serum sodium, peritoneal dialysis and kidney problems in patients with cancer. Dr. Liebman has been with the Nephrology Division since 2004. He has an active general nephrology practice, with a particular interest in disorders of serum sodium, peritoneal dialysis and kidney problems in patients with cancer. He firmly believes that patient education is a key component of the doctor-patient relationship, and that it leads to better care. Dr. Liebman is also very involved in medical education, acting as the nephrology fellowship program director from 2016 - 2022, as well as teaching residents and students at all levels of training.
