Dr Schweidt graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1986, completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Rochester in 1989, and has been practicing medicine ever since, first in the Rochester General Hospital Emergency Department, then in primary care, and since 2006, as a hospitalist at Highland Hospital. She is an assistant professor of medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Medicine, and a 2021 diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She leads the walking program in the Lifestyle Medicine clinic at Highland Hospital.
