Patient Care Bio
Dr. Nelson received his medical degree from the University of Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. During this time he also served as the Chief Cardiology Fellow. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and holds advanced certifications in echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. He cares for inpatients and outpatients at Highland Hospital and cares for patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital.
