Patient Care Bio
Dr. Jill Schafer is part of the Flaum Eye Institute's Comprehensive Eye Care Services specializing in well eye care. Dr. Schafer's areas of interest include Medical and cosmetic contact lens therapy, Dry Eye, Corneal Surface Disorders, Management of Anterior Segment Disease, Pre- and Post-operative Cataract Management and Pre- and Post-operative Refractive Surgery Counseling and Management.
Dr. Schafer is a graduate of the Ohio State University where she completed her Doctor of Optometry Degree. In addition to her clinical experience she has been involved in optometric teaching and education. She is deeply committed to patient care and enjoys working with patients from all walks of life. Dr. Schafer is a member of the American Optometric Association, the New York State Optometric Association and the Rochester Optometric Society.
Now accepting new patients, Dr. Schafer practices with fellow faculty members Shobha Boghani, MD and Rebecca Nally at the University of Rochester Flaum Eye Institute offices. The office is located at 210 Crittenden Boulevard.
