Research Bio
Dr. Fortuna is a health services researcher with interests related to improving health care delivery, particularly for young adults with chronic disease. His major areas of research interest are: (1) evaluating and improving access to primary care, especially for young adults; (2) evaluating the effect of health insurance on health care for young adults; (3) exploring and developing standards of care for young adults; and (4) developing health IT systems to facilitate health care delivery and improve quality in the ambulatory setting.
