Patient Care Bio
Dr. Zambon graduated from the State University of New York College at Geneseo with a B.S. in Biology through the Honors Program. She then went to the University at Buffalo School of Public Health and Health Professions to obtain a M.P.H. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. As part of her M.P.H. she did research in health behaviors, specifically regarding tobacco, alcohol and other drug use in 9th graders in Western New York. The results of this research helped create legislation banning flavored cigarettes in New York State. She subsequently got her M.D. at the University of Buffalo and completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Rochester. She has also done research in oral microbiology and MRSA.
