Research Bio

Dr. Ferdman's main focus is brain development in patients with congenital heart disease both pre- and post-operatively as well as neurodevelopmental outcome, along with brain development in patients with other hemodynamically significant congenital lesions (i.e. Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia). She is also involved with optimizing patient outcomes following surgery for congenital heart disease.
