Assistant
Professor We seek applicants working in all fields of biomedical research with emphasis on cell signaling and who fit in well with the research interests of the Department. Current faculty research strengths include: cell surface receptors, ion channels, G-proteins, calcium signaling, scaffolding proteins, mitochondrial and endoplasmic reticulum function, and cell death. The successful applicant will receive a competitive start-up package and be expected to develop a dynamic, well-funded research program and contribute to graduate and medical teaching programs. The University of Rochester Medical Center is undergoing a major expansion in basic and translational research in the areas of neuroscience, cardiovascular disease, cancer, musculoskeletal disease, and immunology.
