The poster boards for the retreat measure 40" x 60" and can be either portrait or landscape.

Abstract submission deadline is September 1, 2009.

Rules for Submission and Presentation of Abstracts

Maximum 250 words (not including title, authors and institute address), single spaced only
A participant may present more than one abstract.
Abstract content: Each abstract should contain a sentence stating the study's objective, a brief statement of methods, a summary of the results obtained and a statement of the conclusions.
Abbreviations: Use standard abbreviations for units of measure. Other abbreviations should be spelled out in full at first mention, followed by abbreviations in parentheses.
Title must be in CAPITAL LETTERS.
Underline and bold the name of the presenting author.
Include institution or laboratory with full address where the research was done.
The only acceptable font is Times New Roman, at 11 point.
It is not possible to accommodate live exhibits, computers or videos in the poster area.
Abstract must be sent by email as a word document on this form. Have your supervisor (PI) submit the form electronically to GPCR_Retreat@urmc.rochester.edu. Submissions will only be accepted if submitted by a PI.
