Overview

Research Project in progress:
Jonelle participates in the virology research team of the New York Influenza Center of Excellence (NYICE), which is part of the NIH Centers of Excellence for Influenza Research and Surveillance network (CEIRS), focusing on the influenza virus RNA polymerase complex and understanding its role in modifying host cell metabolism. More recently, work has expanded to include the analysis of host tRNA biosynthesis, which current data suggests is perturbed by influenza virus infection.
