Dr. Teeters' research interests focuses on two key areas:
Peripheral arterial disease and the associated cardiovascular risk. I am particularly interested in emerging technologies in vascular ultrasound and translation into diagnosis of vascular disease and risk assessment.
Geriatric cardiovascular disease and treatment. The geriatric population is the fastest growing population in the United States and there is an increasing prevalence of cardiovascular disease amongst these patients. My research interests relate to diagnosing cardiovascular disease in the elder population and proper application of treatment protocols to the geriatric community.
