 Overview
Dr. Paul Twydell is a neurologist at the University of Rochester with subspecialty training in neuromuscular disorders, electromyography, muscle biopsy, and chemodenervation (botulinum toxin injection for spasticity). He is particularly interested in inflammatory myopathies, myasthenia gravis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gherig's Disease). His current research is focused on neuromuscular channelopathies, specifically non-dystrophic myotonias and periodic paralysis.
