Dr. Michael Singh, Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center, is the Director of the University Vein Care Center, the Director of the URMC Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory and Director of the URMC Fourth Year Medical Student Surgery Sub-Internship Rotation. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Rochester and medical degree at the SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine. Dr. Singh completed his general surgery residency at the SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine and his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. He came to the Division of Vascular Surgery after serving as Assistant Professor of Surgery and Associate Program Director of General Surgery Residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He is board certified in vascular and general surgery. Dr. Singh is licensed in the states of New York and Massachusetts. He is a Certified Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation and is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Association for Academic Surgery, Eastern Vascular Surgery Society and the American Medical Association. In addition to receiving several teaching awards, Dr. Singh has numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations to his credit. His areas of expertise include the management of complex venous disease, aortic aneurismal disease and peripheral arterial occlusive disease.
