My current research interests include: 1) host immune response and preclinical vaccine development against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and related respiratory viruses; 2) clinical studies of respiratory viruses and bacterial infections in adults; and 3) development of novel antimicrobial agents against Acinetobacter baumanni and other Gram-negative ESKAPE pathogens.
