Medical Family Therapy Intensive
PSI 492 / CRN 18609 / 3.0 credit hrs
PSI 498 / CRN 18614 / 0.0 credit hrs
This week long intensive blends didactic and experiential methods to teach students how to work with families dealing with illness and how to collaborate with physicians from other health care professionals. The MFTI course is a 3 credit course with the University of Rochester and all students will get a certificate of completion upon successfully completing the course. There is not an option to audit this course.

Family Therapy Practice
PSI 562 / CRN 18623 / 3.0 credit hours
This course prepares students for working with families through advanced readings in family therapy interviewing, role play, and videotape review of faculty and others. The course will also provide students with their first experience with supervised clinical work. Initially cases will be seen conjointly by the student and faculty and then seen in live supervision.

Couples Therapy

Couples Therapy will teach students couples therapy theory and technique using readings in the field and examination of videotape, role play experiences and other case material.

The focus of the project will be clinical, reflecting the student’s
