Our healthcare professionals are committed to excellence and to using their expertise to provide you with the best possible care. We seek out the best to join our team and expect the best from each and every one of them, every day. In return, our high standards make Strong Health a desirable employer for the most dedicated healthcare professionals.
Board Certification
All physicians at Strong Health are board certified or eligible for board certification in their specialty areas. To be board certified, physicians must reach a high standard of knowledge, skill, and expertise in their respective specialties so they can provide high-quality patient care. To become board certified, physicians must pass rigorous examinations and are re-tested every few years to maintain their certification.
Physician Credentialing
To care for patients at Strong Health, physicians must first apply for Medical Staff membership and for permission to perform services and procedures. Physicians practicing at Strong Health must pass a thorough credentialing process, where all of their medical training, education, and experience is reviewed and verified. The first review is done by physicians who are experts in the same field as the physician applying for privileges. Step two is a review by two physician-led committees (the Credentials Committee and the Medical Executive Committee), which recommend to the Hospital Board whether or not a physician is properly qualified to join the Medical Staff. Physicians must renew their membership every two years by maintaining their credentials, participating in continuing medical education, and succeeding in a performance-review process that measures and monitors the quality of the care they provide.
