Clinical Presentation: Routine screening mammogram.
Imaging Findings: Well circumscribed fat containing mass in the medial subareolar area of the right breast.

Diagnosis: Fibroadenolipoma (hamartoma)
Discussion: The mammary fibroadenolipoma (hamartoma) is a benign proliferation of the fibrous and adenomatous nodular elements in fat surrounded by a capsule of connective tissue. It contains ducts, lobules, fibrous and adipose tissue. It can present as a palpable nodule or as an incidental finding on the screening mammogram. The mammographic appearance of sharply marginated lucent (fat containing) lesion containing water density (fibrous and adenomatous) structures is diagnostic and eliminates the need for further work-up.
