Referrals, Consultations & Appointments
When a patient's condition requires the expertise of a specialist, we want to make it easy for you to connect with one of our 1,500 physicians.
You can arrange for a referral / appointment for one of your patients in three ways:
- Call our MD Access Call Center (see sidebar)
- Contact the physician's office directly
- Fill out our online Referral Request Form (surgical only)
MD Access Call Center
Our MD Access Call Center was created to expedite the referral and appointment process.
We can quickly direct you to the physician with whom you wish to speak, as well as facilitate consultations and second opinions. If you're unsure of which physician to contact, the agent can identify physicians with the expertise you seek and handle the logistics of contacting them for you. We can identify physicians by:
- Specialty
- Gender
- Procedures
- Hospital affiliations
- Office location
- Languages spoken
