Arthur Kornberg, M.D.
(Class of 1941)
Professor, Department of Biochemistry
Stanford University School of Medicine
Nobel Laureate

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Kornberg is a 1941 graduate of the University of Rochester's School of Medicine and Dentistry. After serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, he returned to conduct research at the National Institutes of Health, NYU, Berkeley, and Washington University.
