Annual Ethics/Medical Humanities Grand Rounds
The Interdisciplinary Cluster on Health and Human Values co-ordinates this event. The guest speaker is chosen for his/her nationally or internationally recognized contribution to issues in Ethics or Medical Humanities. These rounds are typically held in October.
Medical Humanities Rounds
This new series of conferences, held on the first Wednesday of every month, will feature presentations by faculty and guest speakers that address issues in health care through the lens of humanities (including literature, history, philosophy, visual arts, music, religious and cultural studies, theatre and dance).
Interdisciplinary Clinical Ethics Rounds
These rounds, which are organized by the Division, are held on the second Wednesday of every month, from 12 - 1 pm, and focus on topics of ethical issues and dilemmas in medicine.
Monthly Biopsychosocial Integration Conference
These session are held one Friday each month from 8 - 9:15 am, on topics related to biospsychosocial medicine, particularly patient-centered health care issues.
Kenneth B. Schwartz Center Rounds
This series of conferences are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 12 - 1 pm to provide a multidisciplinary forum for caregivers to discuss important emotional, social and psychological issues that arise in caring for patients with serious illness.
Palliative Care Conference
This series of conferences meets on the 4th Wednesday of every month from 12 - 1 pm to consider issues related to Palliative and End-of-Life Care.
Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Conferences
This series of conferences are held on the 5th Wednesday of appropriate months from 12 - 1 pm to provide discussions on topics of complementary and alternative medicine.
