The city of Rochester, NY is home to more than 200,000 people with the surrounding areas making up an additional 500,000. The Rochester area is noted for being home to two major private universities (U of R & RIT) and two of our State Colleges (SUNY Brockport & MCC.) We have several professional sports teams ranging from farm league to major league, and a very active arts community. The area has also been noted for several historic structures including a Frank Loyd Wright house situated in the heart of Rochester. Rochester, NY, is also the home of Wegmans, Xerox, and Kodak.
