There is close interaction between attendings, fellows and residents in the analysis and interpretation of the MR cases here in the neuroradiology MR reading room. Both films and PACS are used for neuroradiology studies, while the rest of the department is totally filmless.

The Division of Diagnostic & Interventional Neuroradiology holds Journal Club twice a month following a schedule. The fellows and researchers each prepare an article for presentation and then each article is discussed. The quality of the articles presented are formally evaluated using this form.

Dr. Numaguchi is lecturing to the fellows with Dr. Buadu as an observant listener.

This book bridges the gap between traditional maxillofacial imaging and advanced medical imaging.    This book is a case-based pediatric neuroimaging atlas.

   The most difficult area in MR imaging is the pediatric brain and spine, and ironically there is no case atlas covering this topic specifically. We have collected typical cases of pediatric brain and spine abnormalities of outstanding quality and they will be displayed in a systematic fashion in this atlas. There will be many good quality images with a small amount of text. This atlas will be useful for radiologists, radiology residents, pediatricians, pediatric neurologists and general neurologists.

   Publication date is scheduled for November 2004.
