The First All-Alumni APA Reception

On Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007, The American Psychiatric Association hosted the First All-Alumni Reception at their Annual Meeting.  The University of Rochester Medical Center’s Department of Psychiatry welcomed psychiatric fellowship and post graduate degree alumni to the reception.   Attendees hailed from all over country as well as a few from across the seas.  Alumni and their guests enjoyed refreshments and conversation with the department’s Chair, Eric D. Caine, MD on the rooftop terrace of the San Diego Convention Center.  Although the weather was cool and overcast the attendees were high spirited and engaged in warm conversation.  The University plans to participate again in 2008 when the conference is hosted in Washington, DC.  We hope to see you there!
